Exercise and Physical Well-Being

We offer lots of different exercise options here at Beyond Limits, for all abilities. Whether you are a budding marathon runner who can take on a circuit with our personal trainer, someone who likes a gentle walk in the fresh air, or you are recovering from surgery or have mobility issues and need to take it easy, we can work with you to keep your physical health in as tip top a shape as possible. We are fortunate enough to have some of the best personal trainers, yoga instructors, dance teachers, and various other fitness experts at our disposal who are happy to come along and teach you at your level and pace.

Dance Classes

We have done all kinds of dance styles, from Belly Dancing to cheerleading, from Salsa to Greek! We like to think outside the box and the bog standard waltz or disco is too tame for us!

Walking Group

Lots of our beneficiaries love to get out in the fresh air and take in the beautiful scenery whilst they get their exercise. Living in the Teesdale and Weardale area makes this the perfect place to do this, so our Happy walking group meets once a week (weather permitting) and visits various places in the area to go for a gentle walk in the countryside.  We have visited Hamsterley Forest, Grassholme Reservoir, and even simply walked the beautiful loop around the Beyond Limits farm.

Personal Trainer

We have a personal trainer who comes in once a week and works one on one and with small groups to target specific areas that people want to improve. Whether that is strength training, cardio, building up a specific area maybe after surgery, or even just general fitness. She is highly qualified and experienced and will help you with whatever gains, losses, changes, or alterations you want to make.
